Membership in Theta Nu Xi is a lifelong commitment, and we are honored to be a part of these ONEderful women's experience.

GAP Program

Many undergraduate sisters remain active sisters after college as professional women through Theta Nu Xi's Graduate Alumnae and Professional (GAP) Program, and often serve as regional and national board members for Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. GAP chapters exist in all regions of the country, and the close bonds formed in undergraduate chapters transcend through GAP life. Our chapter has strong relations with our alumnae, and GAP sisters are a big part of our experience as undergraduates.

Recruitment

Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. does recruitment differently than the Panhellenic sororities on campus. We participate in the initial rounds of Panhellenic recruitment and host our own separate events during the same weeks of recruitment. Recruitment FAQs

WHY IS RECRUITMENT DIFFERENT FROM PANHEL RECRUITMENT?

Theta Nu Xi is an associated member of Panhel, which means we participate in many Panhellenic activities. However, Theta Nu Xi does not belong to the governing body of the Panhellenic Conference. We follow our national organization's recruitment and new member process, which differs from those of the WPI Panhellenic sororities. This means that sisters across the country all go through the same new member process, which brings us even closer to the many sisters in our organization.

WHAT DOES THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS LOOK LIKE?

The fall semester starts with Informal Recruitment, where we host and participate in events to meet potential interested women. Next, we have Formal Recruitment & Selection. During this portion of our process, we host official recruitment events. At the end of these events, potential new members are provided with formal applications to submit to the chapter. After review of applications, and conducting interviews, we select our new members.

Finally, during the spring semester, our new member education occurs, which culminates in our new members' emergence!

IS REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR RECRUITMENT?

Registration is not required for recruitment. However, to stay in the loop on recruitment events, we recommend getting in contact with our Dean of Intake, who is in charge of the recruitment and new member process.

WHAT IF I MISSED THE RECRUITMENT PERIOD?
